Billy the Kidney
The Sheffield Kidney Research Foundation raises funds for research into new treatments for kidney disease. Research is carried out at the Sheffield Kidney Institute and consists of both clinical research and basic science research into the mechanisms underlying kidney disease. Basic science research is carried out at the academic nephrology unit at the University of Sheffield.
